Detroit native Cody L. Lobbestael has produced an increasingly interesting body of work under various guises on some of the underground's most interesting labels. His work as Veldt has seen him release grimy, post-industrial techno on Autumn Archive and Aught Void, and whilst new project Feral Body - a three-piece group that also includes Tyler Baker (Treading Bloom) - is similar in vain, Baker's ghostly, reverb-heavy vocals add a gothic flavour to the proceedings.

His work under his real name is something altogether different; a lush ambient project that would make an almost-perfect soundtrack to float endlessly away to.

If Veldt is the sound of ecstasy pumping through your body at 3am in the club, then Silver Sodomy is the comedown the following afternoon.
